Another successful project delivered! CGI recently completed the renovation of the Lash Miller Computer Lab at the University of Toronto, transforming the space into a modern, flexible environment designed to better accommodate the university's evolving needs. The project included new architectural finishes, a glazed wall system, upgraded audiovisual and electrical infrastructure, and a vertically folding partition wall that allows the space to easily adapt to different functions. A big thank you to @UofT for their trust, and to @enformarch, @stantec, and @rjc_engineers for their collaboration throughout the project. What an incredible day! Thank you to @cawic.ca and @charteredinstituteofbuilding for the guided tour of the Trillium Health Partners Experience Centre. It was fascinating to explore the full-scale mock-up rooms for the future Peter Gilgan Mississauga Hospital and Shah Family Hospital for Women and Children, and to see how much collaboration, planning, and expertise have gone into creating a project that will serve our community for generations to come. #CGIConstructors

This past week, CGI hosted its first 2026 PM-PC Summit in Victoria, bringing together Project Managers and Project Coordinators from our BC and Alberta regions for a day of collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and team building. PM-PC Summits will follow in Manitoba and Ontario. As a company with operations across Canada, opportunities like this help our teams share best practices, discuss lessons learned, and continue strengthening the consistent, high-quality project delivery our clients expect from CGI. Damaged, defective or incorrectly installed scaffold components can lead to tip-overs or collapse. Safety starts with a thorough inspection. Check these key areas: Frames • No cracks, rust, bends, or deformations • Components fit together square and true Feet & Base Plates • Adjustable plates work properly and resist uplift/compression • Securely attached to legs; mudsills must be nailed down Connecting Pins • Compatible with frames and locked in place Braces • Cross & horizontal braces free of cracks, rust, bends • Horizontal braces installed every third frame vertically & in each bay laterally • Scaffolds over 3 frames tied into the structure Guardrails • Must be on all work platforms • Compatible with frames and properly assembled Regular inspections save lives and scaffolds shouldn’t be used unless they are fully inspected. #CGIConstructors #HomeSafeEveryDayEveryOne #ScaffoldSafety

Another successful healthcare project delivered! Earlier this spring, CGI completed the replacement of an existing MDR cart washer at Langley Memorial Hospital, along with renovations to the surrounding space to accommodate updated equipment and improve workflow efficiency. Thank you to @fraserhealth as well as our project partners @wearezeidler for their collaboration and trust throughout the project. Congratulations to our Ontario team members who participated in the Subaru Triathlon at Guelph Lake 1! It was a great day of teamwork, determination, and friendly competition outside of the office.
