Layout Smarter. Layout Faster. CGI partnered with @buildingpointca to put the HP SitePrint robot to work on site, helping make a complex layout faster, more accurate, and more cost-effective. Work is officially underway at the University of Guelph’s War Memorial Hall, and one of our first tasks came with a unique connection to the building’s past. Our team carefully lifted at 605lb block of stone to reveal a time capsule dating back to 1923 and the historic artifacts preserved within. More than 100 years later, it’s a remarkable piece of history to encounter as we begin a new chapter for War Memorial Hall. We’re excited to bring new life to this historic space and share more milestones as the project progresses. A special shoutout to our project partners: @uofguelph, Barry Bryan Associates, @mcw.group, and @wspcanada.
