CGI is proud to have completed the extensive refurbishment of the Douglas Building, a heritage landmark in Victoria, BC. This post-war example of utilitarian architecture has been carefully preserved and revitalized through the removal of hazardous materials, along with upgrades to the roof, electrical systems, and elevators. The improvements will help support the evolving needs of the BC Public Service while preserving the building's historic character for years to come. This also marks our fifth major project at 617 Government Street over the past decade—a testament to the trusted relationships we've built and our commitment to delivering quality projects that stand the test of time. Progress continues at the University of Victoria's Elliott Building Lab renovation. CGI is currently modernizing the space with new millwork, doors and frames, architectural finishes, drywall, paint, interior curtains, and mechanical and electrical upgrades. As work progresses, we're focused on delivering a revitalized learning environment while maintaining quality and coordination every step of the way.
